Description:

The Manager s primary objective will be to facilitate excellent customer service through hiring, coaching and supervision, thus enabling consistent sales growth. Inherent in the effort will be a desire to make your store a fun and fulfilling place to work.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The following are expectations that are the ultimate responsibility of the Manager.
  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Work with HQ team to develop business strategies to expand our customer base, increase store traffic and optimize profitability. Please send your ideas as you have them.
  • Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintain store staff effectiveness by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Conduct performance reviews on a quarterly basis.
  • Awareness of busiest days of the year, this is when you are most needed. Schedule yourself and Assistant Managers accordingly.
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
  • Works with HQ staff to maintain an enticing product offering via regular feedback. Works to determine additional needed sales and promotions.
  • Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display methods. Works with the Merchandiser to accomplish merchandising efforts.
  • Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by occasionally attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Develops an atmosphere of trust and respect amongst staff which results in positive morale.
  • Generate Ideas for events, promotions, employee spiffs, and customer engagement.
  • Perform Onboarding and offboarding tasks as well as employee updates in payroll company via HR to maintain accurate employee records.
